a slot on local radio
a session in the Harp Tavern (part of the festival programme)
several sessions in McLynn’s (traditional music, honest, although
you see us here making our contribution to the Irish economy)
and we were honoured to be asked to sing at the opening at Drumcliffe
Church (where W B Yeats is buried) of a major new sculpture by Jackie
McKenna inspired by Yeats’ poem "He wishes for the cloths of
Heaven”
Did we win any prizes? No, we didn't. But it would have been worth the journey
just to hear the choirs who did.
